Formal certification can cost anything up to £450 – so we’re funding opportunities for Mcr Met students to achieve them for free! You can take advantage of this by building your skills with guided self-study, and then booking in for one of our certification sessions.

For this study pack we are going to visit some of the key functions within PowerPoint that will not only help you to pass the Microsoft Associate Certification but also enable you to utilise the programme for your personal and professional projects.
To begin with we will take a look at how you can adjust your view settings whilst working on your presentations. We will consider the different built-in presentation properties and how you can collaborate on your projects within Power Point. Following from this we will dive into the practical elements of slide modification and the ways you can make your presentation functional and stand out. This will include formatting text and graphics, multi-media applications and using animations and transitions.
